Took a few days out and went up to Yorkshire. Started off in Leeds and Harrogate.
Then we travelled on to Ilkley where we stayed for a couple of nights. The day walking along the River Wharfe was the key point of the visit. We walked from Barden, with Barden Tower and Barden Bridge back into Ilkley. About 13 miles in total and some lovely countryside.
We finished off that day with a wonderful meal in the Moody Cow restaurant in Ilkley itself.
On the way home, we stopped off in Holmfirth, famous for the base of filming for The Last Of The Summer Wine. Very lovely little town and we did pop into the LOTSW museum.
