It’s challenging, as these things always are. Commercial drivers are king and trying to get some changes in to any organisation to be able to measure and then improve project performance will be tricky. I need to really understand what the personal drivers are for senior staff so I can tailor a response in terms of improvements.
I do believe that smaller numbers of effective projects, run and delivered quickly mean better performance and less escalations. I just need to be able to evidence that and show some benefits. They are definitely there, I just need the time and space to prove it.
