Turns out that Lichfield Cathedral is one of my favourites. A lovely building and Lichfield itself was a lovely old town. Mediaeval in places and with a big history in the Civil War. Contested by both sides and artillery fire brought down one of the towers of the Cathedral itself.

Downside – carrying leather jackets and crash helmets on a hot day is a blydi pain. Not the end of the world but I need a plan B.
