Really trying hard to get my fitness back up. This time last year I was running a 5k in about 25/26 minutes. Now it’s back to 29/30 minutes and I’m really struggling. Knee pain and lungs heaving!

I’ve been mixing things up a but with running to the gym, doing cardio stuff there and then running back home. Might need to stop worrying about the time and just think about extending the distance. That worked before and I could do some interval stuff. Want to get fit enough to go back refereeing. I think my rugby playing days are over now……
